Scientists get more great looks at the 1st black hole ever photographed

The supermassive black hole on the coronary heart of the galaxy M87 is coming into sharper and sharper .

Two years in the past, astronomers with the Occasion Horizon Telescope (EHT) mission unveiled imagery of that black hole, which lies 55 million light-years from Earth and is as huge as 6.5 billion suns. These photographs have been historic — the primary direct views of a black gap that humanity had ever captured.
